Henry County Web -- Community Action Agency

The Tri-County Community Action Agency is a private non-profit corporation that has been serving the Henry, Oldham and Trimble county communities since 1974. We offer a variety of programs to enhance the quality of life of our participants. Our senior care programs help you care for your older loved ones both in their homes and out. Our educational programs help adults and children build confidence and self-esteem. Our weatherization program can help you spend less money every month on fuel and electric bills. We also provide emergency services to assist persons in need of food, shelter, clothing, heat, and transportation. Many of our programs are offered at little or no charge to you.

Senior Centers

Tri-County CAA senior centers are for those 60 years of age and older. It's a great place to make new friends and have fun. A full range of activities is available. Whatever your interests, we have something for you! There is bingo and bridge, special classes including tai chi, computer training, and arts and crafts.

There are potlucks, trips and entertainment. Meals are provided at a nominal cost too! Counseling services are also available at the center. Come and have fun with us! (Our other locations are in Oldham and Trimble Counties.)

Weatherization Program

This program helps you spend less money every month on fuel and electric bills. If you qualify, we provide free services to your home. These may include installing insulation in attics, walls, and ceilings, repairing or replacing your furnace or space heater and making minor repairs to doors and windows.

Weatherization applications are taken the first Monday of every month at Tri-County CAA at 313 S. First St., LaGrange, Ky.
